Professional black gay men have played a major role in adding value to society. Many of them are executives in top organizations, helping to reshape the world and contributing to cultural development.

The purpose of the Rolodex Global Conference is to celebrate these achievers and at the same time elevate the profile and visibility of other gay men of color. Attendees of this event will have a huge opportunity to network, connect, interact, get informed, and engage in conversations.

Rolodex was started in 2011 by founder, Luzerne McAllister II, who observed that while there were small informal networks of black gay men meeting socially, there were no larger, more formal professional networks for this same population. After speaking about the idea with colleagues and mentors, he decided to create a Facebook Group, named The Rolodex, geared towards black gay men in finance and consulting. Since its inception, the group has grown to over 200 members in cities such as New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles, and it has broadened its reach beyond finance and consulting.
