Nash Vile is not anti-country. In fact, Brett loves country music and sees how important country is to the foundations of Nashville. After becoming aware of a disproportionate amount of media attention focused on mainstream country music, he decided to balance out the scales by promoting lesser known genres in Nashville. His passion to shine a light on all other music and art that gets less attention stems from his passion for community building and creative inclusivity. 

Nashville has earned the moniker “Music City”, but most of the country doesn’t realize there is a robust metal, pop, rap, emo, jazz, hip-hop, and alternative scene here. Nash Vile is a home for fans and artists to share their thoughts, ideas, and projects with each other and to make the city where they live home. Nash Vile was created for individuals who share a love for all music in Nashville and the area itself.
